Stay was terrible. They never acknowledged my gfs birthday. Our hotel bed was so hard our neck is in pain. No refrigerator in our room and was never compensated for it nor was it replaced. Very apathetic and robotic staff. Do not recommend

Celebrating my birthday at this hotel which none of the staff acknowledged. Was told by the front desk staff its Fourth of July weekend I guess that means expect subpar service. Received an old smelly shrimp cocktail no apologies provided for the inedible old shrimp. When you turn the thermostat on it makes a loud disruptive sound. Engineering came and checked and stated they dont hear anything. I guess we are making the noise up. I had such a high expectation of this hotel with its reviews and accolades. But this hotel is falling short of what was advertised and promised. The customer service here is very robotic and too laid back for my liking. Customers should not be greeted with whats up. I know that Im black its easy to think you can address us any kind of way but it rubbed me the wrong way and came off unprofessional. It definitely put a damper on my birthday weekend. Would not recommend complete let down of a stay. Wont be returning! Also the worse beds as far as comfort Ive had at an hotel, for 200 a night I expected so much more!! Update our fridge was making the noise they removed it and never replaced it during our stay. Housekeeping was rude knocking at our door at 9:30 am for a check out that was not until 12:00pm !!! My neck is in so much pain do to the rough hotel mattress. When I expressed these concerns to Kate she waived 35 valet charge and stated they will take care of me on my next visit. Not happy with the resolution at all. And with my experience I will not be returning even with a free hotel stay! Dont let these reviews fool you like they did me!! This is a beautiful hotel that is great for the weekend. The room are excellent! but the service needs a face-lift. Please do not keep food in the hallways for 8 hours , make sure all passwords work for fitness center (I could not use not 1 treadmill staff was notified), clean your pool, and get a friendly service oriented bartender, remind all guest smoking weed is a no! ,etc etc .
