Staybridge Suites Houston - Medical Center by IHG

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times, but the last two times you can tell that the service has gone way down. My last stay here I had my vehicle stolen from the parking lot and there was a homeless person who literally walked right in the front lobby waves at the clerk. Then proceeded to walk down the 1st floor trying to open doors without anyone stopping him. By the end of my stay there were two other guests who had their vehicles vandalized and another stolen as well from this location.

2 cars were stolen the night that we were here including one of ours. Terrible area.

Location was clean and tidy. Complementary breakfast every morning included. Rooms: Rooms are always clean. Nearby activities: Located close to the arena.

The things I like to know when reviewing a hotel is that it has free breakfast. It has a little of everything but small. I have zero complaints because it was free and I'm a picky eater. I was able to find something to eat. The second is free parking. Easy to find parking and it seemed safe. I felt like I could have left and come back and still found parking. I know previous reviews showed that they recommended the thermostat but you have full control of the thermostat. I slept great. The room was designed well where you can still walk and move. The plus to this hotel and why I would stay here again is the hourly shuttle. The shuttle took us to the Houston Rodeo and runs hourly until 10 pm. Great help for my 75 year old mother to see the Houston Rodeo. Walkability: Able to walk to the NRG stadium safely with zero problems.
