I had my wedding here in 2023. Unfortunately, we did not receive a complimentary night in the wedding suite that was included with our package. The wedding suite was given to the couple that had the wedding the night before us and had booked the wedding six months prior to us. We were not informed, and the day of the wedding we were given a room on the fifth floor which was nowhere near the reception. We also did not receive our wedding night amenity. When I reached to the manager via email she said "I did not process the necessary paperwork to ensure this happened; please accept my sincere apologies for this oversight", but did not offer any way to make it up to us. The other couple was able to book the wedding 18 months in advance but we were told we could only book 12 months in advance. No explanation as to why the policy was different for us. I think they give preferential treatment to larger weddings and certain budgets, if you know what I mean. This was indicated to my fianc and I by some comments a staff member made to us as the menu tasting, indicating the other couple had spent more money. I am sure they will respond and say I was upset they did not refund some of our no-shows/last-minute cancellations. That is true, I was upset and I hoped we would resolve considering I gave notice of those cancellations as soon as I found out. That does not change the rest of the experience I described above. I am choosing to post on Google reviews now because they are disputing my review I posted last year on a wedding website.

BEWARE - I stayed here the first week of January and now, the third week of March, they have added charges to both my personal and work credit cards. That is shady and high risk to still have that information on file two months later. I called and was told they had "issues" with charges posting at the restaurant and that was the reason the charges are now showing up. I have the exact same charge amount on the same day on both my work and personal card (clearly a duplicate charge) and have called everyday this week, been transferred to a different "manager" each time, which no one ever apparently works or answers their lines there, and to no surprise, no one has called me back. Thankfully there are tons of other options in downtown Houston, stay away from this place. Noteworthy details: There is an amazing local coffee shop located right next door (literally a few steps) that has a great patio.
