I am very sorry to inform you about the poor service we experienced at your hospital. We traveled 90 kilometers to get a consultation with Dr. Loganathan, a lung specialist, for my aunt. Before consulting with the doctor, we were interviewed by his PA. She was the only lady in the department. She referred to herself as a duty doctor, which we found shocking, as she had no uniform, no ID, no stethoscope, and did not introduce herself. Initially, we believed she was a duty doctor, but another patient informed us she was actually a PA. When we asked for her name, she refused to tell us. She was very rude and unprofessional. When we inquired about the necessity of the blood tests and chest X-ray, she started shouting at us. Her response was, "Are we sitting here uselessly and seeing you? If you want to see a doctor, you will have to do the test as asked." My aunt is 63 years old, and I am 40. Don't we deserve some respect? We come to reputable hospitals for better care, not to endure such disrespectful treatment. The consultation with Dr. Loganathan in the main room was fruitful, though.
