Mitchell Alfred T MD

Dr. Mitchell is one of a kind. He saw my daughter immediately after her injury happened and surgery was scheduled the next morning. His bedside manor was awesome and he made a very nervous situation pleasant. My daughter is a competitive cheerleader and was quickly back on the mat once her hand healed. She is as good as new.. Thank You Dr. Mitchell :)

For months my dermatologist, a 35-year experienced teacher at UTMB, claimed my infected skin cancer was, "Ewe! That's too nasty to touch!" Finally on August 1, 2015, I sought help for the giant whole in leg and spirit at The Wound Center where they called in Dr. Mitchell. When I repeated the dermatologist's words to Dr. Mitchell, he calmly assured me, "We can take care of this right now and you'll be fine." He immediately admitted me into the hospital and performed surgery the next morning. Everyone I saw from x-ray technicians to nursing staff exclaimed, "Dr. Mitchell is the best doctor here." Indeed. I have had 4 skin cancers removed from my leg - 3 were painful and left ugly scars, yet Dr. Mitchell removed the giant infected cancerous hole in my leg with an easy post-op and spot that is invisible. I wish I could go to Dr. Mitchell for all of my cancer removals because he is a healer. Best doctor ever!

Dr. Mitchell is an amazing doctor. He did work on my finger and really took time to explain to me how to take care of it in a way that I could understand. He really went above and beyond. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor.

Very friendly Dr. Along with his amazing staff. He did a wonderful job with surgery on my finger. I highly recommend using his facility.
