Vijaya L Kaila, MD

I didnt have a great experience with dr. Vijaya. I arrived on time for my appointment, but I still waited 40 mins to be seen. When they finally call me, the doctor asked a few questions, never examined my stomach area or anything. She just told me to schedule two expensive procedures for next week (+$1000). She didnt even cared about how I was feeling or how frustrated I was with my symptoms. I dont recommend this GI.

Dr Kaila listens to her patients, takes careful notes, and is thorough. Her bedside manner is caring. Her clinic has patient hours and office hours, so when you call during office hours, youre sure to get a person and a great response. I feel so much better than when I first saw her in July, following her treatment and advice. I highly recommend her.

I dont understand why I am being treated so badly. I had a brief appointment with Dr. Kaila and she suggested an upper Endoscopy. I canceled first one in advance because I was sick. I was told to go at 4:30 for second one. I even questioned the time because I needed a ride and very early. I still have recording with time on it. When I arrived they were closed. Called number they said they open at 6:00. Went at 6:00 got yelled at and was told that nobody told me 4:30. I got GI and was told I have slight infection. Im following everything Dr. Kaila said. I called earlier because I became nauseated and started sweating real bad. I asked if Dr. Kaila could call something in for nausea. I asked very nicely. It went awful. She never would answer me and told me I needed to make an appointment to get the results for biopsy. I finally had enough and said I would have to call another Dr. For nausea. I asked her to have Dr. Kaila call me if I had cancer and I would go in. Do I have cancer? What have I done wrong. People convinced me to go have this checked. I dont understand if I was wrong to ask a GI doctor for medicine. Im obviously suffering or I would not have gone to see her.

Dr. Kayla is amazing!! Very caring and precise. She listens to her patients.

My husband and I both recently had our colonoscopies performed by Dr. Kaila. Our experiences were very positive, we were very pleased with Dr. Kaila. She explained the procedure thoroughly, and results at the follow up visit as well. She also took her time answering our questions. We greatly appreciate Dr. Kaila and would recommend her to others.
