Just like other person or persons, can't get to talk with Dr. All phone numbers go to automated system with no options to get to office. Leave messages as directed and don't hear anything for days,well beyond 3-4 days. Very disappointed with communication factor with Dr.

Dr Patel immediately diagnosed a very painful condition that my previous gastroenterologist could not figure out for over a year. Baylors booking of appointments and the back office are not in keeping with this doctors extraordinary skills.

As others have mentioned previously, communication and follow-up for the office is a problem, but I believe Dr. Patel genuinely cares for his patients. I think his hands are tied with the center's poor communication standards. Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable, experienced and well-versed in his specialty and my rating is reflective of that point only. A quick search of his credentials will confirm his premier effectiveness in treating GI patients. If you can get his ear you'll leave all the wiser and be in good hands. Just be prepared for some difficulty with the center communication. If you are searching for a trusted Doctor to perform your procedure, Dr. Patel is your guy.
