Dr. Heidi M. Nashed-Guirguis, MD

Called with a Medicare client of mine to help her get her prescriptions refilled. The receptionist was very rude and even heard her say " GOD THESE PEOPLE ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY" before hanging up. My client was brought to tears as she's recently endured a stroke and has a hard time communicating. I'm trying to convince her to leave this medical group altogether. So unprofessional I'm speechless.

Dr. Heidi Nashed has been my family doctor for several years. She is by far the best doctor I have had in my 71 years of life. She always takes time and care. She treats you like you are family. Talking with her is like talking with a trusted family friend. Her staff is also very responsive and kind. I highly recommend her and her staff. ~Ana Brown

While Dr. Nashed is a very nice person, her staff needs to work on their people skills. Her P.A. would try to ask questions not related to the visit for which I was there, and when I said "you're not going to change my code from a 1 to a 3 or more & try to charge me more", she abruptly left the room without a word. When I tried to get a prescription filled, the office staff merely said "You have a balance & need an office visit". Though I couldn't come in for an office visit, due to a pandemic, they wanted a virtual visit. I didn't want a visit for just my foot gout, just meds. Two days later, I received a notice that Dr. Nashed is terminating our relationship. Did I mention this was during a pandemic? I tried to call other doctors but nobody was taking new clients for all of June & July. When Walgreens called Dr. Nashed's office to renew my prescriptions, the office called me & said on July 7th that I needed to schedule an appointment. The next day, July 8th, they said I cannot come in & need to see another physician & get the meds filled quickly. Again...during a PANDEMIC. The office staff never shows compassion, they seem to worry only about money. Hopefully, I can get meds filled from a new physician DURING A PANDEMIC.
