Dr. Maria Messing is a highly skilled and experienced endodontist, specializing in root canal therapy and other endodontic treatments. Born and raised in Mexico City, she obtained her dental degree in 2006 before practicing as a general dentist in private practice. Driven by her passion for endodontics, she relocated to Houston to pursue advanced training and education.

Dr. Messing completed a Preceptorship Program at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston and subsequently earned her Master in Dental Science Degree in Endodontics in 2016. During her residency, she received recognition for her research on potential correlations between endodontic pathology and cardiovascular diseases. Her work was published in the Journal of Endodontics and she received national recognition for the Best Clinical Research Paper of 2019 by the American Association of Endodontists.

With Board-Eligibility from the American Board of Endodontics, Dr. Messing is a specialist member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Patients and referring doctors appreciate her warm and personable demeanor, as well as her commitment to delivering exceptional clinical care in a calm and relaxed environment.

In her spare time, Dr. Messing enjoys traveling with her family, exploring new cultures and cuisines, and reading about nutrition and parenting. She brings a holistic approach to patient care and values the collaborative partnership between herself and referring dentists to ensure the best possible outcomes for her patients.
