Neha connected me with a consultant who helped me strengthen my application to Brown University. I was consistently treated with kindness and respect from both of them; never did I feel judged or scared to express my ideas. The consultant met with me 3 times over zoom, and was very personable and welcoming. He helped me set goals and deadlines to keep my application schedule on track. I am thankful for this opportunity to work with these two great people, and I believe that they'd be a big help to any student in need of guidance during the often stressful times of college applications. Participating in the College Shortcuts mentorship program has been a transformative experience for me. Under the guidance of Neha, I have gained invaluable mentorship and direction that have significantly enriched my journey towards college readiness. Neha's guidance has helped me participate in starting a business with fellow peers. Starting a business requires time and dedication and I am looking forward to launching our business this year. Through engaging projects and lectures on soft skills/ public speaking, Neha's mentorship has played a pivotal role in enhancing my resume. As a result, my confidence has grown, and I feel well-equipped to navigate the challenges that lie ahead. Aug 20th, 2023

I have known Neha Gupta for over ten years. During 2 of those years she or one of her associates tutored my child. I was extremely pleased with her integrity and demeanor, as well as that of those she hired to work with her. Under Nehas tutelage, my child grew and matured in both her understanding of challenging material and difficult homework questions. It is necessary for parents to back up Nehas work at home to get the best and desired outcome, and for the child or teen to do the work asked of them. Not doing so will result in both poor grades and difficulties in life in general, as Neha teaches older children that life is tough, and one must develop strength and grit to be rewarded in any field. If Neha or her company received a bad review, it is likely that the student or students unfortunately did not take the work ( and perhaps life) seriously. I would not base my decision on one review of a family likely previously never challenged or asked to rise to the occasion. Neha is a star, and she gets results. Perhaps not the original results hoped for, but wow when she works with your child you learn they can reach for the stars, and be one. Leslie Law Harris, M.D. Sep 6th, 2023

I am father of one of Nehas students. While we have to still wait for my daughters admission outcome, I want to highlight some of my experience in last year or so to make sure if you are looking for help/mentorship for your kids with the college admission process, you should stop your search and just request Neha to consider your kids for the program. She is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought into how she presents the material to beginners (new to the process). Her lessons were engaging, useful, and she was very patient with everyone including my daughter. Always encouraging her students to try and do best. I know not all parents will get what they are looking for, but feedback from my daughter and my personal experience made me think that I made the right decision. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested. She has all the attributes and credentials to bring best to your kids. Thanks, Neha, for everything. Sep 5th, 2023

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! At first, the founder, Neha Gupta will have all good things to say. She will make so many false promises. Once you are in the program, and the money is coming to her, she does not care at all. I enrolled my son in her mentorship program, we paid $$$$$ amount for 10 months. Initially, she said, there will be 2 mentorship classes every month and a few more to do some projects. During the course, she just decided not to have the class whenever she wants. She will twist the words and blame things on you. She is a liar and has no professionalism. The projects that my son started in her program, were supposed to be finished in 4 months. By the end of 10 months, my son hardly finished anything. That too, he did most stuff on his own. I kept writing emails to her, but there was no satisfactory response. After 10 months, I got a chance of attending her online meeting and raised my concerns on a video call. My two concerns were, 1. why she did not take two mentorship classes per month as promised. 2. When will projects be finished, as we are paying a lot of money every month and nothing productive is coming out of it. She not only had no answer to these concerns, but also, could not take the feedback positively. Just after the meeting, without my consent, she decided to withdraw my son from the program with no responsibility of finishing the ongoing projects. So now, the projects my son did for last 10 months are left in the middle. All these months he just wasted his time and efforts. This is the real side of Neha Gupta and College Shortcuts. What she did was unfair and unethical. People, do not get fooled by the sweet things she says initially. I am also a teacher, and if her heart allows her to leave a student in a jeopardized situation, I doubt if she is even a teacher. A teacher would never do that! Say no to College Shortcuts! Say no to Neha Gupta!
Her response below, says it all! She takes every feedback personally. Nobody yelled or left the room during the zoom meeting. But as I said earlier, she will mould things and blame it on you! Her focus is not your student! Thats the reason she responds in this way here and in her emails. MY SON DID NOT FINISH EVEN A SINGLE PROJECT. The extra time she is talking about, use to last for 5-10 minutes ( supposed to be 1 hr.). We would never actually need this, if things were done right from the very beginning. She was suppose to give 2 mentorship classes per month with her( not with UPenn graduate), because thats what we paid for! Below are the dates she taught the classes which clearly shows she taught just 1 class for the months of Feb, May, June and July.

Leslie - thank you for your kind words! You have been with us as one of the longest standing families we have worked with!I appreciate your review as your daughter is one of the most outstanding students we have worked with - she is one that will be in our memory as a company for decades. Her ability to focus, do great work, and her level of interests, she is such an old soul. We worked on so much more than just test prep and her applications, she soaked up all the life lessons and ways to be a better person in life.We look forward to continuing work with her in any capacity on her journey!

Dear Neha, thank you for your feedback. I would like to go ahead and put the communications we have had, and the work we have done for you in the emails we have had from you since September 2022: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CoNTMmTHabKluKvu12Q49hOl6cEmPbVCCNjgZHs3Tjc/edit?usp=sharing In terms of our services and mentorship program that I run, I would like to clarify your notes here. First, we received your complaints halfway through the program, and every email that you have complained or felt frustrated, you received a response from me within 24 hours. No response was given from you afterwards. We had promised two calls per month in your mentorship program, and we also ensured that students would complete both soft skills training AND a technical project. In your case, because your child finished a project quickly, we ended up giving EXTRA projects and multiple projects as an added value to ensure success. Second, when it came to projects for your child, we spent an extra 7 hours, without charging you, to work one on one with a UPENN Graduate level computer science mentor to ensure your child was getting work completed and ensuring you had solid levels of service. When you joined on the video call and I discussed how we were updating our new year and how we were going to do our projects, you came on and publicly yelled at me, stating "I am disappointed in you," and not only was that extremely disrespectful, but you left the room after I responded back to you explaining how we have accommodated as much as we could for your child specifically in the group setting, and did outside of work for your child which we paid for on the house to ensure your satisfaction. In addition, all class schedules and reminders were sent and there were many calls that your child did not attend as well. At this point, it is clear that we were unable to come to a solution, even with us trying to appease and give you more extra sessions, over seven hours, when our program promised to, and I still received negative feedback. We have had thousands of students, and many testimonials, of students who complete their capstone projects, and mentorship programs with us, and are getting into their top schools. We know that we cannot satisfy every customer, and we tried our best to handle the situation, but you were constantly disappointed in us even when we tried. We again, wish you the best of luck in your child's process. For all families reading this, please read our site and visit our testimonials page to see families who do the work, show up, and utilize our services properly: https://collegeshortcuts.com/testimonials and feel free to read the email communication and what we did for this family.
