Excellent visit! They are very thorough with data collection including primary markers (for diabetes, cholesterol, cardiovascular, vaccines, annual testing & past medical hx). And the staff were warm, friendly & efficient. I was quite impressed.

Oak St Health is only good because there's no wait time to see a Dr. The bad part is when you need a referral to see a Specialist. The Referral team set me up with 2 Drs that wouldn't treat me for my injuries. I ended up having to research Drs on my own. So far I've been waiting on the Dr. to send the referral to the Specialist 4 days now, but because the Referral team set me up with the wrong Drs twice my total wait time to get a referral faxed to the right Dr is a month and a half. That's not including the wait time I'll have to actually see the Specialist. I hope No one EVER has to have Oak St Health White Oak refer them to a Specialist! You'll probably die before they send the referral. I would Not refer ANYONE to use their services! Very Unhappy Patient! I will definitely be switching to another PCP not affiliated with Oak St Health ASAP.

I was enticed to come to Oak Street health and change my medical provider. I am currently on anxiety medication and sleeping medication. Right off the bat the doctor said he couldn't treat me and imideatly referred me out to another organization not affiliate with Oak Street health. They are only interested making a lot of money treating people for things that are easy to deal with. They pride themselves for helping elderly people on Medicare. We elderly people frequently have difficulty sleeping or have anxiety, and the doctor refused to treat me and keep me on my existing medications. My current doctor is Moving out-of-state and I needed to find a new provider. If you're looking for somebody who really cares about you. Oak Street health is not the place to go. I also notice that there were about fifteen examination Rooms, and there is only one doctor at each facility. They will try to push your treatments to a nurse practitioner and not a doctor. This is how they make a lot of money with minimal medical staffing. As they grow, you can expect lines to be very long waits. With only one doctor and so many examining rooms in such large facilities.

I had a couple of problems I thought would resolve,,, they didn't, so I called early Mon morning. They wanted to see me, got me in by 3. Even provided transportation. They immediately zeroed in on the problem, treated me, & I was feeling better by the time I got home. I have to have an X-ray, & it was arranged for Tuesday morning. I'm glad I have Oak Street.
