West End Child Development Center

My almost 4 year old son has been going to West End and participating in the Texas Rising Star program for almost 6 months. I could not be more happy with our experience with the amazing teachers and staff that help run the facility. I look forward to the app updates I receive with comments or photos about how my son's day is going, what he ate, etc., and they have no problem communicating with the parents or connecting with the children. One of the main reasons, I chose this daycare is because of the location, availability of the TRS, and the listed experience of dealing with children with behavioral issues on the Childcare Collaborative. While my son, doesn't have any documented behavioral problems like ADHD, we all know that toddlers can throw quite a tantrum, especially mine. I wanted to make sure he went to a daycare/school that would not write him up or try to expel him right away, but actually try to help him understand and effectively communicate his emotions while providing him with the school structure he will soon experience in Pre-K. I found that in West End! I can call or pop-in and at any time and have never felt more comfortable leaving him in the care of others. Coming from one paranoid mama bear on her 3rd and final (hooray!) daycare.

I am a parent of the center and I love the care my child receives. The staff is friendly and they really adhere to needs of myself and my 2 year old son. He loves walking through the doors every morning and the pictures I receive throughout the day lets me know his mood stays the same. We love West End!

My daughter has been going for over a year since she was 7 months old. We love that her care providers and loving, interested in her developmental growth. The new director has made a positive difference in the environment. My daughter continues to share new vocabulary growth and her joy and love for the world is celebrated here.
