Did not have a good experience with Patrick. The quote to build the home was way out of price range and I asked Patrick where we may find cost savings and he said "none" when in fact there were several ways to find savings. Window sizes, structural engineering, and stairs to name a few. I saved over $100k having the plans relooked at with someone else. Please be hesitent on giving ANY money to this business.

Attending the homebuilding workshops has been an incredibly valuable experience for me. The knowledge and skills I've gained have not only helped me in my own homebuilding project but have also given me a deeper understanding of the entire process. Patrick is knowledgeable and approachable, and the hands-on learning approach is fantastic. I was a bit concerned about building my dream home for the first time, however after completing my home, Id do it again in a heartbeat. The process was so smooth, Im considering building more. Contractors were great to work with. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Patrick and the entire Blue Sky Consulting & Construction team to anyone interested in building their own custom home. I have known Patrick Harrington since high school, his father was a home builder and Patrick followed in his fathers footsteps and became a home builder. Patrick is very knowledgeable due this extensive experience. He now shares his expertise to those who want to save a substantial amount of money in the process of building their home. My home was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey and it has been quite an experience getting prepared to rebuild due to CoVid shut downs. I have been able to attend Patricks homebuilding workshops the workshops are a great resource for owner-builders. Patrick has great presentations on planning and designing your dream home from the foundation to the roof and every room in between. He is always ready to answer questions and keep you project moving. With his insight you will be guided through the budgeting and project management so you save money while you build your dream home.
