I was very happy with the outcome of my project. I would highly recommend G&E Castillos Construction for any of your projects. Everything was as expected were very informative to me and stayed in communication at all times!!! (Was a siding job)

G&E Castillio Building Texas Strong is a very unprofessional and fraudulent family run company. We began working with G&E Castillo in 2021/ the beginning of 2022 on a construction project they were to perform. The project is in Angleton, which they agreed. However, they have no working knowledge of the area. There were several red flags, this company has no contracts in place, no invoice system and they were not able to accurately perform duties that I asked of them in relation to the area. Permits were done by me and not the company. My business partner was called with information about lumber and it was an amazing deal. Well he provided the company with a check to purchase the lumber for this great deal. As time proceeds, we asked several times for an invoice, they never provided one. We asked for pictures and they would never send them, but they showed us a brief picture that looked like left over lumber from another project. We continued to work with them, even after this. G&E Castillos Building Texas Strong provided us astronomical quotes for items. They were charging $600 for trucks of dirt that normally cost $125. We mutually agreed moving forward to purchase our own material. In an effort compensate for the agreement to purchase our own materials, they doubled the labor cost. So, before no work was done, we decided to walk away. When asked to refund the money for the lumber or to provide the lumber we have not received any answers. They now want to provide an invoice for services they have not rendered. I have reached out several times and they have now stopped answering the phone. Whatever you do, do not trust this builder with any building project. They only want to take advantage of people and that is very unfortunate and unprofessional. In response to their message: We did have not any issues getting approval. That is certainly not the truth. I have called you several times today 5/13/22 and you have not responded. You did no work, you don't even have a contract that you use, no invoicing system because of your poor business ethics. The most that you did was provide quotes. So you deserve no compenatstaion. Your business cards says "free". I am assuming that is another lie as well. You are thieves and will not return the lumber or money because you have spent it and no have no lumber to show for it. So take it from me, please stir clear of this business. As you can see they are very unprofessional and thieves that want to be compensated for work they did not do. You are owed nothing. To think that you should be compensated for $20,000 is ridiculous when you did not do $20,000 worth of work. You spent the money, there is no lumber and you dont dont have the finances to possibly refund our money. You are thieves. The total fee to be the general contractor was $35,000 for labor again thieves. Nothing will come of your business at this point you wont be successful because of your lack of professionalism and taking advantage of people I will continue to tell people how horrible you are until we have come to a resolution. Honestly, probably beyond that.
