The Tin Guy

If you are looking for a contractor to install mass produced tin ceilings, this is probably not your Tin Guy. Marty is an Artist, I dont really have any other way to describe his work. Marty custom fits the tin designs to flow trough your ceiling gracefully accounting for custom dimensions of the ceiling and construction imperfections, then he finishes the junctures by hand and finally hand paints the ceiling, on multiple coats, to your specific liking using the mixture of colors that you prefer. You can give him a sample of colors/pattern you like and he will produce a color pallet inspired on that but that will look MUCH better (you can tell it was not mass produced). The result: when people come to our house they always compliment our ceilings and if ask if the ceilings came with the house.. Marty also did my office and now every time I have a meeting people ask me if I am using a Zoom Virtual Background or if it is really my office... Price: the cost was less than buying mass produced pre finished tin ceilings. Martys crew: Professionals, polite crew. Our home is a 150 year old Victorian and the slat work in the family room ceiling was beginning to crack and show signs of deterioration. I had always wanted a tin ceiling and did my research to find Marty, The Tin Guy. Of course we were a little nervous about replacing the ceiling but Marty soon put our fears to rest. He and his crew got to work right away and stayed long hours to get the job done quickly. They were on time, respectful of my home keeping the work area as organized and clean as possible. Marty's knowledge of building and the tin business met our every expectation. Marty did a great job!! He is a perfectionist!!! The first thing our guests notice after walking in the front door is the ceiling of the great room....usually followed by an expression of "WOW! Look at that!" The ceiling tile arrangement helps set the tone for the rest of our home. As far as the project itself... he came in on time and on budget!! We couldn't ask for more. Overall.. a very good experience working with him and his team.

I LOVE MY CEILING!!! Let Marty come help you with your ceiling!! I thought I had a great pattern picked out. Marty suggested this oval medallion (posted). Hands down his idea was so much better than mine. He knows what he is doing. Great guy & very talented. Great design ideas. Be open with your ideas & let him help you. Well worth to consultation.
