I have never been to Texas nor have I seen this doctor, yet they have filed an $1800 out of network charge against my insurance. Clear up this issue and Ill delete the review. I have asked the health insurer to investigate this provider for fraud, and am considering involving local authorities in the jurisdiction of this practice.

After trips to 2 ERs due to extreme fatigue and having the ER doctors tell my thyroid medication needed to be adjusted and that I needed a pace-maker because there was no medication that could fix my heart condition , I went to Dr. Hariharan and he put me on flecainide and that fixed the issue.

Dr. Hariharan is a very accomplished cardiac specialist with a great bedside manner. I had an electrical issue that had bothered me for many years. Through a systematic approach to identifying the exact issue he narrowed the problem down and in one very effective and efficient surgery got me back to 100%. Only concern is the wait time to see him. He is popular and he is busy.Update a few years on from initial review. Still no change to my review of Dr Hariharan specifically. He is a dedicated and talented specialist. Also want to emphasize that he is very busy and perhaps (from my perspective) could do with a lighter patient load or an increased support staff. What I do want to update is the importance of understanding risk, however small, with ablation procedures. My first ablation came with only a 2% risk of causing further issues that were not initially present. Dr. Hariharan made me aware of this risk but due to my overall health and young age he believed it was not a concern at all. Unfortunately I was in that 2% and the outcome of that first procedure has been multiple times worse than my original issues. 4 ablations later and still no solution. My quality of life has been dramatically reduced. Just want to ensure everyone does their homework and understands the risk going in. Make sure initial problems are not something you can live with and that the risk is worth it...
