        Dr. Balan has been a blessing doctor to our family. He has been my fathers doctor since 2019. The knowledge that God has given is amazing. Such a smart doctor with a great heart. Hes still my fathers doctor and were very happy. Even his staff is great. When I call to ask something they go over beyond to help answer my questions. 10*

        I cant begin to share , how pleased I was with Dr. Prakash. He put my mind at ease . My mind was filled with so many unanswered questions. Which weighed heavy . He kept my thoughts positive and had a lovely bedside manner. Which at times are hard to find. His staff where lovely and courteous. I have a long road ahead , but I am comfortable and confident , being under Dr. Prakashs care.

        HORRIBLE.Doesn't care about people, uses you as Guinea pigs for his research. Your blood pressure over 200- no rush lets see you in a month if you still alive... Not only ignors your calls, but you may sit for 4 hours for your appointment to find out that he was not even in the country.

        I was originally referred to Dr. Prakash by my GYN since I have marfans and he has been my cardiologist since moving to Houston back in 2012. He has followed me with annual check-ups and has one of the best echo-technicians I've had! He's given me excellent reference to a genetic counselor and a surgical cardiologist when it came time for me to have surgery. Going from being followed by him annually to having to have surgery, Dr. Prakash has been there and done an excellent job. If you have marfans he's the cardiologist for you. There was a year that he wasn't in-network for my insurance and I had to go to a different cardiologist - let's just say I was ready to get back to Dr. Prakash the next year when my insurance switched. Because his technician is so excellent, I didn't haven't to have any expensive MRA or Heart-CT every year (and depending on your insurance plan you can hit your deductible with one of those test)!

        "Heartless" I'm w/ my 75 yr old client who had triple bypass surg 4 her 1st follow up. appt was made May 18th day of surgery/today is June 22nd) the staff made everyone Wait 2+ just to tell everyone the dr had no intention of ever being there because there was mistake in scheduling they had 30 days to re sched this place sux

      Siddharth K. Prakash, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular and adult congenital heart disease. His clinical interests center on bicuspid aortic valve, thoracic aortic aneurysm, and Turner syndrome in patients 17 years and older. Prakash’s practice philosophy includes continuous assessment, participation in research, guideline-based therapies, and a personalized approach. Patients rely on him for long-term care and clear answers regarding their genetic conditions and prognosis due to his strong emphasis on genetic counseling, screening, and surveillance for patients and families with congenital heart disease. Prakash is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
