Not impressed. Very dismissive. He wasn't even aware of my referral in order to address why I was there. I had an accident and burst my Aorta while living out of state. I had to have open heart surgery to repair. He spent very little time with me and listened even less to what I had to say. He was dismissive to the diagnosis that was on the medical records I brought with me. My records they have for me now don't even reflect my aortic leak. He has me down for congestive heart failure yet the results of my tests according to his office girl don't reflect anything. He had me come in for an ultrasound and then submitted me for a Nuclear Stress Test. For my results he had a secretary call me and give me the results. She was very brief and impersonal with me...verified it was me and then said..."Your test was ok". I responded with, "That's all?" She said yes and we got off the phone. I have not heard another word from them. They got their money and meanwhile I don't know anything more about what to expect having a foreign object in my heart from the repair. NOT A FAN of this doctor. I feel like when he found out I was on disability and saw that I am a bit overweight, based on some of our conversation, he pretty much blew me off. I feel like as soon as he knew I had been put on disability he did what I have found a lot of these doctors do...dismiss you as a stereotype. I actually watched him disengage with me.

My primary care physician, Dr. Amanda Gilbert, recommended that I see a cardiologist. Dr. Goel was very patient and kind. He recommended echocardiogram and cardiac stress test. He explained the abnormalities he discovered and he performed my cardiac catheterization. He recommended I ultimately needed to see a cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. C. Nahas. I highly recommend Dr. Goel for his knowledge and efficiency.

My family practitioner discovered a heart murmur. I went to see Dr. Goel who came highly recommended. He truly impressed me by not ordering a bunch of unnecessary tests. He had an EKG done, recommended an echocardiogram be done, which I did. In a very timely manner, I got the call...normal echocardiogram. He took his time explaining, and answered my questions so I could understand. I will return to follow up next year. I highly recommend Dr. Goel, and his lovely staff.

Dr. Goel is an excellent cardiologist who has taken care of my Mom for about 4 years now. She lost one of her legs about 5 years ago and he has done an incredible job making sure everything is done from a human standpoint to keep the other one. He is very patient and his staff is very friendly as well!!
