I must say, when a representative from Brooksource approached me (due to my information on LinkedIn), I was rather skeptical. I wasn't looking for employment at that time, but I decided to learn more. Once I learned that it was regarding a contract to hire position, I wasn't too enthusiastic. Then, I read less than satisfactory reviews about the company, even running across some suggestions that Brooksource was a scam. The position I was offered was appealing, but I knew I wasn't fully qualified for it so, with all things considered, I declined. A couple months later I was approached again by the same representative, but this time I strongly considered this a sign as I began to feel like there had to be something better out there for me. Besides, the newly offered position seemed more of a fit for me despite that it was something I have never done before. But my confidence drove me to try anyway. When conversing with my representaive, I refrained from commenting on the negative reviews and focussed more on asking the kinds of questions that would reduce my doubts if answered correctly. I decided to just go for the position I was offered because it was with a big company that had sought to employ me some years prior. I have been working in my new position for three months now. The entire time my Brooksource representative reached out to me on a weekly basis to offer support if needed (he still does). Last week I was approached by HR of the company I had been contracted to work for to submit an application for full time employment. The ball is definately rolling. I can testify for certain that Brooksource is a legitimate company with the sole purpose of accomplishing exactly what they set out to do... "To deliver Engineering and IT initiatives for Fortune 500 organizations through Experience-Driven Staffing." My representative, Keoni, always made himself available to me for any questions and/or concerns I may have. I intend on recommending Brooksource to family and friends who can also benefit from their invaluable services. I would definitely give more than 5 stars for Brooksource if I could. It has been an absolute joy working with Brooksource. They found me on LinkedIn and reached out to learn about me professionally and personally. Their process placed me in a Data Analyst/BI Developer role based on my skillset, but also the cultural fit. I was even fielding other offers at the time and they negotiated a higher hourly rate for my current position. I have been in my position for approximately 3 months now and I still get regular check ins from members of the Brooksource team to ensure everything is going well. I would like to give a personal shoutout to my key contact, Gracin, who has always made herself accessible to my schedule to ensure every question I could have is answered. I fully intend to continue utilizing Brooksource to find future job opportunities in IT. Edit: Forgot to mention how fast and painless the process was. One short interview with Brooksource to gauge my experience (15 minutes). One longer interview to deep dive into my technical skillset (30-45 minutes). One final interview with the hiring manager for the position (30 minutes). I had an offer in hand the next week.
