Alternative Management Systems

I live in a condo managed by this firm. All the mortar had fallen out along an outside door to a storage space and when I reported it to AMS, this is the kind of repair they did. Not mortar, just squirt-in orange foam which is unsightly. This is typical of the type of repairs they make. The easiest, cheapest fix.

After knowing and seeing a plethora of problems that several of my friends have had with this place, I’d NEVER rent or buy any condos ran by this “mismanagement system”. They're pretty much a slum lord. You will be fined for everything under the sun including decorations and things that have nothing to do with any type of safety hazard. External repairs are done as cheaply and low quality as possible. You will also forced to pay for repairs of OTHER properties that are not your own.

Creates more problems than they solve, not worth what they have been paid, we were not desparate before we hired them, I feel the worst decision in my 13 yrs in this condo, and not the only ones with this opinion.

Owner of the firm encourages condo association boards to harass individual unit owners that she does not like, or owners that try to hold her firm accountable for performing the duties for which they are being paid. When I asked to see a copy of the firm's surety bond, I was told they didn't have one. I personally saw copies of emails where the owner advised the condo association board on how to "get even" with me only because I asked some legitimate, reasonable questions about the condo association's finances and business affairs. I filed several ethics complaints against this firm and against the owner. She finally resigned from managing my condo association to stop me from filing more ethics complaints. My advice is to avoid this firm altogether.
