    I lived in an apartment complex (Brick Row) that got taken over by Simpson Housing and unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. When I moved out, they failed to send me my move out balance. I followed up with them multiple times to make sure they took off some extra charges and they said they would get back to me and never did. When I called again, they told me they sent the move out balance letter to my Brick Row address even though I gave them my forwarding address 3 times. They asked for my forwarding address again and said they would send it. I never got it and I ended getting a notice from my credit report that my move out balance got sent to collections. When I called them, they acted like I just didnt pay and it was my fault. I dont appreciate the disrespect and unprofessionalism and would not recommend leasing from any apartment complex that this company manages.

    **ROBBERY, BREAK IN's & CRIME** We have been robbed and broken into twice so far. I have lived here for 4 years and it gets worse each year. The garage gates are broken more than they are working. About once a month or twice robbers come and break into apartments and cars. I implore you to not live here, it is unsafe. God forbid you are home or around when the robbers are at LARQ. You can have nothing in your car and theyll still rob you. we have talked with the office staff who are your average/typical apartment staff, but in the end nothing from a resident standpoint has been done, break-ins still happen about once a month if not more. i brought simpson property group several solutions and told them budgeting isn't a good enough excuse when you are talking about the lives of humans. pay for a working gate. the gate was never broken when alexan was the owners. simpson property group is the issue. simpson property group can pay for security or cameras or our damages or our rent or our fee to leave the lease, or the stolen items, or our time off work to deal with these issues, or our deductibles for insurance, or our rental cars, or Ubers. I have also reached out to every apartment locating company and relator in DFW to let them know this issue as well. the only way to get a sense of urgency from simpson property group corporate is to reduce their sales and in turn reduce the money coming into their pockets. to the on site office management: i am sorry for having to post this because i know you get commission based off people signing leases. but i am leaving an honest review. i worry for my safety and others. but when it comes to my life and the life of those i love being at risk i don't stand for it. there needs to be accountability and no one at simpson property group has the gall to own it. and to the simpson property group person who replies on everyones review...DONT on mine. dont post another copy and paste response like you do to everyone else. i have tried to talk to y'all. stop talking about other complexes, this is about you simpson property group , so please dont copy paste a response on this review. you have said everything and yet somehow it is still nothing. there are two kinds of companies in this world, those who care and those who dont. simpson property group , you are one who doesn't.

    Easily the worst property group I've ever had the misfortune of staying at one of their apartment complexes. Scumbag company that'll charge you for any little thing & threaten you with sending you to collections, while taking 0 care of their properties.

Hi Veronica, thank you for taking time to provide your feedback. At Larq Henderson, we are in the middle of a gate system upgrade with the exterior access doors are scheduled to be completed this week. The parking gates will be converted to this new system soon after. We’ve been in communication with Dallas PD, who has assured us that they have a dedicated team working on finding the car break in thieves who have been impacting Larq and the surrounding area. We take the safety and security of our residents seriously and we are actively working on improving the situation.
