This is a great organization that is sincerely concerned for its community and committed to assisting others with overcoming challenges. There's more to it than the distribution of food. I encourage you to consider making donations, volunteering, and/or check out what it has to offer. Every small act of kindness is a giant step for humanity.

After coming to the center 2 weeks in a row on the bus to get turned away I am not sure if the organization is for assisting people as they say. It seems like a waste of time and money. You get there and you are turned around because there is no one available or even working. They tell you to come back and someone will assist you and you are again turned around due to everyone being at lunch. They say come back on this day and we will be here all day...lol that's a joke. Some people need the resources that you are offering and don't have money or transportation to keep getting the run a round. Some people are actually fighting for their freedom and it sets them back to keep getting pushed away from what seems to be the only help/option that some of us has to lean on. It says that you are here to give second chances, bridging the gap and helping people who have been incarcerated get back into the workforce and back to somewhat believing If this is what you stand for and what you are offering for our community, then do so. Stop continuing to not care and look down because it is not you in the situation. I'm writing this review so you can be aware of how this is affecting people and hopefully Miles of Freedom can actually help instead of pushing people away and making them feel as though they are not important and don't deserve the assistance.
