Planet Home Lending, LLC - Dallas

I paid into escrow for taxes and they screwed up the address of my property. Now I'm on the hook for an $11,000 tax bill and can't access my escrow in time. They offered no support or remediation. Useless. *edit - I've been recommended to file a complaint through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau if anyone with a similar issue needs assistance.

The availability and communication showed by Shawn and other members of the Planet Home Lending team was pivotal to the quality of experience I had purchasing my first house. I am someone who prefers phone calls and I understand that can be potentially taxing at times, but Shawn was always willing to answer my calls and every question that went along with it. My specific situation was not an easy one either, but his patience and willingness to go down this bumpy road was extremely appreciated especially since my parents were also involved. Again, I sincerely appreciate all that Shawn, and the rest of the team, have done to get me closed and look forward to further, hopefully less complicated, experiences down the road. Many thanks.

The branch manager was really rude. We called the number that we found on google and get upset that we are calling him. It not our fault that his number is list as the main contact when you search for their company. Someone from Planet home lending need to change the number because your BRANCH MANAGER does not like that, we call his number. So Rude, If it wasn't that i had to leave a star i would have gave them NO stars

The closing was fast and pain free. But dont listen to jack your loan officer promise you. They only care about closing the deal. Youll be ambushed at the table.

I truly liked how the Planet Home Lendings agent, Mr. Chris Martinez, was handling everything in our purchase house process, considering our best interest. Chris is a very kind, accountable, responsive, and supportive person that makes you really relax for all the steps in the process.
