Gordy Bright and his team, including the amazing Summer Grade, were easy to work with, easy to communicate with and always there to support! I was so thankful that I could text and call them directly. They did everything in their power to ensure I was able to get the house of my dreams and I am incredibly thankful for all the effort they put in throughout the process. Their communication was clear and consistent and I never felt like a burden asking all my questions. Thanks y'all!!

Thoroughly pleased with Standard Mortgage. The entire loan process went smoothly, efficiently and amazingly fast. Our loan officer, Gordy Bright, did an exemplary job of providing information, obtaining information, and expediting the application. This was not our first time to use Standard Mortgage and--if we need to in the future--it won't be our last.

Standard Mortgage's website (3rd party: estatusconnect) is terrible. The site perpetually thinks you are logged in, even months after you last visited. I was told to clear my browser's history / cookies and that did work once (though not always). That isn't something I have to do for any other website I ever use; they just key off of some local browser data or something that no one who has decent software engineers does. As another reviewer mentioned, the tools on the site are subpar as well. It would be different if you had some choice of mortgage service provider.

Gordy and his team were easy to work with, provided clear communications, and helped us close as promised. A welcome change after the prior bad experience trying to refi!
