Very poor service. No personal connections. Caleb gave up early in the process, showing a lack of interest or knowledge on his part. We went with Fairway and now we own our first home.

After working with Guaranteed Rate for years, I am sad to say that I will never work with any of them except Dan Aaron. I am a realtor and always need a great lender partner. The reason I work with Dan Aaron at Guaranteed Rate, is because of his personal attention & transparency. I and my clients have been happy with Dan and I never wanted to change. However, this time, I was working as the listing agent and the buyer was using Guaranteed Rate. We were working with a completely different team. I understand that mistakes are made but the fact that they are not communicated is where I have a HUGE issue. Our closing was delayed for a day and my client will not be getting paid until over the weekend. So, basically, he has to wait 5 days to get paid. This is the first time I am working with this client so NOW I look like the incompetent one, which I am not. During this process, my client had to change his closing because he could not take 2 days off of work. He is a trader. We had to schedule a mobile notary. I also had to take time out of my work to go pick up the signed docs to have it on time so we could close on Friday. See, unlike our lender, we had to accommodate with our work because of the failure of the lender. The lender should have taken responsibility for their failure to have a condo certificate addressed to the correct condo. Also, when they realized their failure, they sent over paperwork to make the change with the deadline being a day AFTER closing. What I have the biggest issue with is that the lender (Ryan Schmid) was so RUDE. I wanted him to take care of the $150 fee because, it was not my problem that the closing had to be rescheduled. All he said to me was that I don't think I should take care of this fee. At this time, it would have been so easy to call the title company to give a lender credit. After also speaking with management, they decided they were not going to help at all. I spent most of my valuable time taking care of this fee. So, I hope this email helps. with kind regards, Christi

My experience with Indu and her team at Guaranteed Rate Dallas was phenomenal. This was my first home buying experience where Indu time to explain me how the loan process and different types of loan options available. We had a complex situation but Indu went above and beyond to make sure our loans gets approved and would provide pre-approval letters as needed to put in offers on homes promptly. Her expert team followed up on additional documents and friendly reminders to make sure everything was completed on time. Their flash closing option saved me a lot of time during the closing and the company website with secure customer portal made it easy to upload financial documents as per the loan checklist. I definitely recommend Guaranteed Rate Dallas to all my friends and family to use as their lender for their next home purpose. Thank You for making my first home buying experience great and I appreciate all your help & guidance.
