    I took my car to get my transmission replaced, I was told I was getting a new transmission, I received a pre-owned ( for $6500 at least they could have replaced it with a remanufactured transmission). I didn't find this out until 3 months later.. The service techs broke the latch on my hood, I had a low pressure light on my vehicle which was never an issue before, I had to take my car back many times to get this resolved, taking off from work to get the repairs completed. Left the shop one day and they forgot to secure the hood on my car, which flew up on the freeway, thankfully I didn't have an accident. After confronting the service advisor about the numerous issues I had after picking up my vehicle, he admitted that he lied to me about a few things he noticed on my car. At this point, I was very skeptical about the work that was done on the transmission, so I went to other places to follow up on the repairs completed at this Toyota dealership, at the time of the quote, I was told that the price for the transmission, parts and labor, will be $6500 I immediately asked if this was for a new transmission, I was told, YES, the quote for for a new transmission but after finding out from other transmission repair shops, Toyota is no longer making Rav4 transmissions. Why didn't they tell me that? I could have went anywhere to get a preowned transmission. I have now learned, from other Toyota dealerships that remanufactured transmissions (everything is replaced with new parts) are what is always used but will inform the customer of the option of a preowned (i.e. from cars in accidents) which is not really a difference in the price. This Toyota dealership lead me to believe I was getting a new transmission. Instead of a new or remanufactured transmission for $6500, I received a pre-owned transmission, and I can tell the difference in my car it lags into gear. When bringing this to attention of the service manager, he responded that I received a preowned transmission with 91K miles and that I have a 1 year warranty. The pictures below were taken by another dealership who informed me that if the transmission was new, it should not look like this after 3 months. I'm very disappointed and this has shaken my confidence in the integrity of this dealership.

    with an appointment 09/12/23 for the oil change service and they wanted to stay with the vehicle all day under the excuse that they still had to order the oil, and I changed it for the following week and that they would have everything ready; But even so I was waiting for 3 hours and they delivered the vehicle to me without the service. They told me that because of my irresponsibility I had obtained 2 free services, but what good is it if they give me 10 or 20? If when you take it they just don't do it.

    I called in at this Toyota dealership, never gone to it before. I had my Toyota Prius towed to it for a new fobe and key plus reprogramming. Made multiple calls, I was back and forth with the service advisor and parts department on the price of the fobe and key. My car was sitting up at the dealership for more than a few days, wondering when they are gonna start the process of programming the fobe. Called in next morning waiting to hear back from the parts department to see if they had started the process, they told me no because the service advisor never told me the correct price for the fobe and key and programming. It was going to be 300$ and now I was told it's going to be 1,000$ for the whole process, once being told the correct price for everything including the charge for the labor, I almost had the car towed to a different dealership. The service advisor was very rude, unhelpful, and had a bad attitude. He was rude because we questioned the time and price of the entire process. Never gave me and my boyfriend a correct price. Nor contacted us in timely manner on the issue. I will not ever bring my vehicle to dis location for any kind of service even in the event of an emergency.
