We had an appointment for 9 am and then we got a call after 7PM that they would not be there.  We didn't have anyone to help us.  They were going to pick up my husband at an assisted living place.  I got him into the car and hurt him getting him out.  It was a terrible situation.

Great service!  I use them for doctor appointments and they make me feel safe and get me there on time.  The drivers and office staff are friendly and very helpful.  Thank you so much!

Lost my dad.  Driver VERY late, and then dropped dementia patient off at the wrong building without checking to see if he was at the right location, or knew where he was going.  I was tight on schedule and arranged for Amera solutions to pick up my dad and drive him to his physician's appointment where I was waiting to meet him.  After initial drop off time, still not there, and I discovered he had not been picked up.  Driver finally showed after 2 calls to the office and being told that he was going to be there in 5 minutes (20 is what they meant).  We would have been late for the appointment if he'd dropped him off at the front door as arranged, but the idiot driver dropped him off several blocks away at a surgical building without walking him to meet me or realize he was at the wrong building. My dad wandered the building until some RNs spotted him and figured out what had happened.  I was able to determine where he was through his phone, and drove to pick him up at which time we were almost an hour late for the appointment.  These offices were on a busy highway and this could have been a tragedy.  Of course, no time saved with this service.  The gall of this company in handling an elderly patient this way, and insisting on keeping the money for the drive.  Shame on them--I would never use a company so irresponsible or recommend them.
