#JoeFoodTour super cute restaurant on the second floor of the building. The appetizers were a hit with buttered fresh bread, pickled vegetables, salume and whipped ricotta/not goat cheese. The bolognese and the 100 layer lasagna is the best Italian dish ever!!!! #HowdyFromHouston #ThePropertyJoes #LivingLifeInHouston

All around great experience! Our waiter CT was attentive and polished. Not super friendly which I fine, but very professional. The calamari was light and crispy. Highly recommend the Wagyu steak which was cooked to perfect and well seasoned. The lobster ravioli was tasty and filled with lobster. I worried the mashed potatoes were too mashed from looking at them, but they were not, and even better, they were seasoned to perfection. Suggest finishing with the tiramisu which was not at all soggy or too moist, just yummy!

Sad experience. Came early and hoped for a great dining experience but the wait staff was uninterested and dismissive. Waited 30 minutes for our drinks to even arrive at 5pm on a Friday. We were greeted with do you want something to drink and do you know what you want to eat? - embarrassing for an establishment like this. Wont return and do not waste your time.

Went here for dinner on a whim. The environment looks nice, the music is non-stop oldies music, which is nice, and they had a nice outdoor balcony area with heat lamps, couches and blankets. The food was decent for the price. I got the meatballs as an appetizer, approx $14 and you get three. They were decently cooked, fairly loose and moist, but flavor and searing wise they were a bit lacking. The 100 layer lasagna was super interesting, 100 layers of super thin pasta layered with meat and bchamel, at least in theory. Texture was fun due to all the layers, it was very tender. However, to keep it a manageable size, that means the filling in between in layer is near transparent. The lasagna is served on a bed of sauce, and coated in cheese before being baked, but ultimately this was a fairly ok, decent lasagna. Its fun for the novelty, but not for $40. The plus side is that if you wanted to split this with an app or two and a drink, the portion size would allow it. Finally I got a slice of carrot cake, and that was the best part of the meal. Nicely spiced, with chunks of apple, and a very tasty cream cheese frosting. Service was hit or miss. When I first got there at 6PM not every table was full, but over time service became fewer and sparse from the waitstaff, however, there was a separate person that went around making sure waters were always topped off. She was great. Overall this was a decent place, but for meatballs, one of their cheapest reds, 100 layer lasagna and carrot cake it was 91 dollars before tax and tip, a bit high for the flavors involved. Worth going to for a decent Italian dinner if youre around the area, but its not something I would go out of my way for. However, the outdoor patio balcony with some apps and wine might be nice in the evening.
