Hilton now charges you to park here. From free for the last 7 years to now being $15/ day is insane. There's 5 other hotels in a 3 block radius, the only other one that charges is the Westin hotel that is actually in the galleria mall. that makes sense. This Embassy suites is next to a CVS and another hotel (who doesn't charge to park). Save your $60 and ditch this one.

The total experience was overall not the best. First you have to pay to park! I asked why, and the desk said because everyone does. That is a great reason. The toilet in our room would not fully flush. At 11:00 p.m., it overflowed onto the floor and into the carpet. Told the front desk. No apologies, just we will send maintenance. While I was at the desk, another person approached the desk and wanted to move rooms for the second time due to their toilet not flushing. Maintenance came and plunged (didn't help much) he cleaned up the Overflow with our towels. Never apologized. The next morning carpet still wet, talked again to desk and they moved us. I asked to talk to a manager, and managers don't work on weekends. You would think they would at least have one on call. I asked if a manager would call me on Monday. I was told no, I would have to call them.
So once we moved, I flushed the toilet in the new room, and it would not fully flush. So we lightly used to toilet and tried to use others while out and about.
You can't buy anything in their little store with cash. They don't accept cash anywhere.
On Friday night, my wife and I wanted to order an appetizer from the bar area. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting on the staff to show up. Two patrons were sitting at the bar not being served either. We finally left the bar and went elsewhere.
The entire time we were there, it just seemed like the staff could care less.

First of all I want to say that I am a faithful Gold Hilton honors members and have been for years! I stayhere during worm trips and trips just for pleasure. My family and I love staying at Embassy Suites over any other Hilton property. Yes! Even when we traveled to Puerto Rico! Owner can check and confirm this. However, this has been by far the worst Embassy I have EVER stayed at!!
First of all, I booked the "Premium" suite which is supposed to include snacks (not the first time I book this suite). Well the snacks were are supposed to be sodas, chips, and candies. When we checked in the roomhad NO snacks. I told the receptionist this and she informed methey were behind butwould get them asap. By 9pm, no snacks yet so they offered to let me get some from their snack store. Second day they finally put snacks but they were nasty healthy snacks and NO candies which I immediately asked them to switch out. They never switched them and did not exchange them the following day. The snacks which I paid for as an upgrade remained untouched the rest of the trip.
Second, the older bar tender during 2 of our evening receptions was extremely rude. Each drink contained less alcohol and less drink overall. I had never experienced this at any other Embassy Suites. The younger one was a different story.
Finally, the rooms were old and the furniture was dirty and old! The restroom ceiling was all patched up. The building smelled old and dirty.
I will say the young bartender and the chef making the made to order breakfast in the mornings were very nice people.
Dallas has many options for hotels so do yourself a favor and avoid this one!

The staff was very nice!! Especially Toni & Abby. They even accommodated our large group with an early check-in request.
Rooms: Rooms were just okay. No complaints, just okay.
Nearby activities: Galleria mall and lots of places to eat.
Walkability: Can walk to CVS and Arby's. They share a parking lot with the hotel kind of.
Food & drinks: The Happy Hour was great!
Noteworthy details: N/A.
