Bishop Arts Hotel

Bishop Arts is a pretty cool spot. If you can find a better place though, stay there. I stayed in one of the bottom rooms that was a dump. Room number not marked, so difficult to find and no reception desk, just an emailed code and email correspondence . Also, hotel advertised free parking, but no parking space was assigned to my room so I had to park several blocks away. I was solo traveling and getting back to the hotel in the dark, so not cool. Hotel also advertised amenities that werent available. And when the person (not on site) reached out to see how room was, I said things werent there and she basically said to look harder. Nope, still not there!! At least she reached out. Water pressure non-existent in bathroom sink, so washed using shower. Room had dust balls in the corners and the bed wood was missing, plug was hanging out of wall. Obviously, I wont stay at this hotel again. I would stay in the area though. My advice, find a better place!

Great place to stay. The room was ready on arrival, clean, quiet, easy to find. Style is modern and hip, but not lux. Parking is convenient, right behind the building. The only negative was that the wifi connection struggled and we couldn't work from the hotel. Rooms: It's kind of set up like a small apartment, with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom. Very spacious for a couple, at least. Walkability: Right in the heart of the Bishop Arts District. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

Great place to stay! It was a quick stop for us, but definitely going to stay again when we have more time to explore the area! Rooms: Two rooms in an open loft-nice space & very clean! Food & drinks: Many great food options nearby
