I stayed in this hotel this past week. This hotel staff was very deceptive with their charges. When I arrived the front desk staff states they need a card on file in case I were to purchase anything from their small lobby market. Knowing I had no intentions of purchasing anything. I put my card on file. The very next day there is a charge on my account for $20.57. I come to the front desk to see what this charge is for. The lady states it is for parking in the parking garage. When she said that was the charge per night I repeated back to her what she said and she insisted that she misspoke and the charge was only a one time charge. The second night I had a second charge for $20.57. So I proceeded to go back to the front desk again and this time the man says oh no that's what we charge every night for parking. Meanwhile the sign in the garage says 61 minutes-24 hours is a $5 flat rate. This parking charge was never communicated to me when I placed my card on file. When I asked about the flat rate the staff stated that was the charge for the patients/visitors at baylor medical center. Seeing as I was staying at the hotel due to a family member having a transplant at baylor medical center that would make me a visitor of baylor and a guest at the hotel. The staff never offered to correct this charge after my complaint. Deception for profit is not good for business in my opinion. Definitely won't be staying here again. Noteworthy details: Don't be decieved!

Service is terrible overall in terms of the phone system and the communication/administrative issues that we faced every step of the way from the booking process through our stay experience. Impossible to get a hold of anyone at the front desk by calling. Often it goes to voicemail and you have to just hope someone will call you back in time for whatever your question or need is. A few times I had to enter, no one as the front desk. So if I forgot my key or if my key had issues, I could be stuck outside without being able to get a hold of anyone. They screwed up our reservation multiple times. When we extended our room 1 more night, we got verbal confirmation and that we were booked and that it would be the same rate. When we went to get our key card reactivated, we were told that we were checked out and they didnt have a room in our name for an extra day. When they did finally update the reservation, they charged a higher rate than was originally discussed. If I hadnt caught this and asked them to correct it we would have been charged more than our rate. Throughout our stay we kept getting large charges on the credit card that were not adding up, and I was told these were holds that would drop off. They never dropped off and those charges were all put through so now I have to dispute 100s of dollars worth of charges. Overall location is pretty inconvenient. Parking is expensive and the parking garage is not attached to the hotel so you still have to walk out and around the building to get into the hotel. Not a great area if you have to do that at night. It is a very difficult walk to park and enter the hotel for the elderly or disabled. Its confusing to find where youre going, and is quite a trek. Additionally, even the front entrance accessibility ramp is long and a bit of a walk for someone who is already disabled or struggling, and then to carry all their luggage in themselves is a nightmare. Valet service would be a game changer because thats how bad the parking situation is for those who are not healthy or wanting to walk around there late at night. Rooms are really nice and have wonderful amenities if you have to stay there overnight when you have family members in the hospital next door. Breakfast is pretty good and the hotel overall inside is nice. Very clean and comfortable. Only one staff member was nice and kind. I wish I had gotten his name so I could recommend him.

Overpriced for what you get. A tiny bed, cheap paper products like TP or tissues. The water pressure was terrible so doing things at the sink or the shower was annoying. They advertise "free Wi-Fi", but it's super slow and they try to upcharge you for regular speed Wi-Fi. And to top of the entire experience at a lovely $200/night, they also charge you $20/night for parking. At that rate for a room with a bed fit for a toddler, you'd think the best they can do is pick up the tab for parking, but no. There was just nothing about my stay that made me feel like I would stay here again and especially not for that price.
