CYL Infrared Studio - Greenville & Lovers

I bought a package over Thanksgiving to roll with my friend who introduced me to this experience. I loved it and was so excited to roll again. On my second experience one of the rollers heaters was not working which was disappointing and I felt I should have been offered a credit since it was not up to the standards I was sold on, but nothing was offered to me. My 3rd time I tried to make an appointment for myself and my friend but was told only one roller was working and that it had been down for over a month!!! I was advised to go to the Preston location. The whole reason I bought a package here was to be able to do this with a friend at this location. It was what sold me that they had two rollers and you can roll together with a friend or significant other. We both live near by vs. the location in Preston which is about 20-25 minutes away depending on traffic. The fact that the second roller has been down for this long is unacceptable. I will finish out my current package and will not be purchasing another one.

Disappointing Experience at CYL Infrared Studio I initially had a great experience at CYL Infrared Studio as a guest of a friend, prompting me to purchase a 20-pass package for myself. However, my recent visits have left me disappointed and questioning the value of my investment. During my first visit, there was a minor issue with one of the rollers' heating infrared, but I assumed it was temporary. Fast forward to my second visit, where I booked a tandem session specifically for my husband and me. Despite being informed in advance that the infrared in one of the units wasn't working, I decided to proceed, thinking it wouldn't significantly impact our experience. On the morning of our scheduled session, just as we were about to leave, I received a call informing me that the heating element issue persisted. Despite expressing my understanding and readiness to proceed without the infrared, we arrived at the studio, only to be told that the unit with the previously malfunctioning element had completely stopped working since 7:30 AM, not disclosed on the 8:00 AM call, and there was no resolution in sight. This unexpected turn of events resulted in us leaving without receiving the services we had planned and paid for. I am now questioning the reliability of the facility and the worth of the 20-pass package I purchased, especially considering the emphasis placed on sharing the experience with my husband when I made the initial purchase. Feeling incredibly disappointed, I've lost confidence in the ability to use my credits as expected. I was initially convinced to invest in a larger package by a salesperson who emphasized the opportunity to share the experience with my husband. Regrettably, this recent experience has fallen far short of my expectations. In light of these issues, I will be requesting a refund for the unused portion of my pass. I hope that this feedback can contribute to improvements in the overall customer experience at CYL Infrared Studio.
