Nice, professional looking salon. My installation was $1200+ for very short hair. Price seemed to be based on longest hair strand (about 9 inches) even though most hair was only 4-6 inches long due to heat damage. Cash payments seem to be discouraged. Payments with cards include a surcharge, including debit. It was challenging to find an experienced consultant accepting new establishments, so thats the only reason I proceeded. I had planned to continue with the same consultant for at least two years, but my consultant only had weekday appointments. The retightenings are the same price as most other locations. Retightenings were a little rough at times (especially near the end) so painful at times even though I am not tender headed. I didnt have any soreness after though because I am not tender headed. I also heard hair snapping/popping/breaking during my retightenings that I dont hear now that I switched to a different location. I also had a few locks that werent retightened and at least two were merged into one lock. Not sure if that was accidental or intentional. I wasnt informed. I discovered it when I got home. My grid looks nice and neat, but my hair was not interlocked to the ends. Many were only interlocked an inch, or less, and the remainder of the hair was left loose. I wasnt told how many locks I had, and I still havent counted, but I think there are 400-500. Overall, glad to finally have sisterlocks so happy with results. Would recommend getting a trim in advance if you have uneven hair for a fairer price.
