Horrible company, charged us for 6 months without doing any work. Lied about scope of work and capabilities and had the insane nerve of attempting to raise the fee contractually. Scott is dishonest and should not be allowed to do business. It's a shame people like this are allowed to do business in America, we are disgusted by their actions and will file complaints both with the states Texas and Oregon and with the proper Federal regulators if we are refunded immediately. Mr. Wisniewski charged me for 6 months of tax and payroll for an amount of $8500. No tax work or payroll work has been done and Scott claims he doesn't have authorization to complete the tax work I already paid him for unless I sign a new contract. Scott should understand a contract of this sort requires work for the service price, without the promised work, the contract is void. I feel what Scott has done is criminal and I will discover whether this is true or not, hopefully people will see these reviews as they have a common theme.DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING he send you with an attorney! My wife and I have been with Scott for about a decade now, he is awesome. Always professional and very detail oriented. Highly recommend. Sep 5th, 2023

Came here to see what reviews had been written and was unsurprised to see the only other review echoed my exact experience. Scott was my financial advisor for 5 years and had generally performed as expected. The last year has been quite different. The culmination of this was an ongoing contract dispute regarding work that Scott had not performed and him continuing to bill me. His side is that I was contractually obligated to pay, my side was he was contractually obligated to do the work and he did not. After going back and forth for months with Scott via email regarding my issues and disagreements, now we're to the point that Scott will not return my calls even when I use his online scheduling system to schedule dedicated time to discuss these issues. Don't know what else to say. Sad to see a long and financially rewarding relationship for both sided end this way. Disappointed to say the least. Dec 18th, 2022

Scott was my financial advisor for years, and when I chose to change advisors, he acted extremely unprofessionally by ghosting me and has not returned a call or an email for months. He eventually transferred my accounts to the individual investor branch at Schwab, but didn't have the courtesy to inform me that he had finally followed through with my request. Nov 16th, 2021

Corey Guidry, in order to start work and provide advice, a contract must been signed. You signed a contract. Within that contract, the fee is listed. Therefore a fee is charged to start work. Your contractual responsibilities are to timely and completely provide the necessary requested information to perform our ongoing services. After nearly 8 months of repeated phone calls, emails, and texts reminding you to provide the information, you have yet to provide all of the requested information so that we can continue to provide services. We remain committed to continue to providing you services but you need to provide the requested information in order to prepare your taxes, performing bookkeeping, etc. It’s unfortunate that you’ve written false and potentially damaging information. Please remove.

The client engaged us to perform 2022 tax services (tax planning and tax preparation). On 3/18/22, 2022 tax planning work was conducted due to a change in income status. Action items were given to the client as part of the tax planning performed. 4 months later the client mistakenly emailed thinking our firm still had outstanding work to perform from back in March, however, no items were outstanding from our side. At that point, another 2022 financial/tax review was performed (July) with an updated set of action items generated and sent to the client. In November 2022, we were sadly notified of termination. After the client terminated, the client expected to not be billed for the work performed, despite proof of the work we performed being resent multiple times and a copy of the signed contract sent clearly listing the billing arrangement. All of this was communicated repeatedly via email. The client stopped paying our fees, in breach of contract, despite work being performed throughout the year.

On 9/13/2021, you terminated services. Upon receiving that information, we de-linked from your investment accounts, per the request. When we de-link, we’re no longer able to view any information about your accounts, current nor historical. Therefore, we couldn't help you with a transition to another firm in any respect. This information was communicated to your father since you directed us to communicate with him since you moved to Australia. I hope you understand how the review is not an accurate representation of what occurred. Please consider removing the review.
