My son had surgery in March 2021 at Dr. Posten's. I had to pay in full on the date of service. Since that time, my health insurance reimbursed Dr. Posten (by almost the full amount). So now they owe me $1000. When I call the office, they give me the number of the out-sourced billing company. When I call that out sourced billing company (Patient Bill Health), they give me the number of the office. I have been trying for 6 weeks to get anyone to help me and they people I talk to at the doctors office say they will help but never return my calls. I rarely run into a situation where I am so very powerless. I will not being going back here.

I found Dr. Posten and the staff to be excellent. First impression, the facilities are clean and organized. There is plenty of seating for Covid safety. Dr. Posten is a gentle, warm, and precise individual. His explanation about the procedure was very good, and this was my eighth MOHS procedure but first by him. His assistants were very very good. I do not like needles and they were great. I have been recovering per explanation and expectation. I am pleased. Absolutely no questions about recommending him.

I went to see Dr Posten due to basal cell carcinoma on my left leg, slightly below my knee. I first went in for a consultation regarding Mohs surgery. Dr Posten took his time with me and answered any questions that I had. The entire staff was very friendly and supportive. I was very nervous on the day of the surgery. Dr Posten and everyone there were very understanding and patient with me. I am now cancer free, praise God! I highly recommend them and I thank them for all their kindness!

Similar to other reviews I found online about William Posten, unfortunately after I had my surgery, he overcharged me almost $1,000 for a surgical procedure, and his billing office hangs up on you, instead of following the correct procedure of returning the overcharge to you. The only reason I went to Posten because he was listed as an in-network doctor by my insurance carrier, which means he is supposed to charge the patient was is listed on the insurance carrier's Explanation of Benefits (EOB). If he has a problem with the EOB, then he is to appeal the difference to them, not insist the patient pay more than what he owes before he finishes the surgery.  To add insult to injury, the insurance rep also informed me that the medical clinical info did not support such a large and deep hole he carved into my face, which then required plastic surgery and anesthesia. Thereby increasing the cost for both me and the insurance carrier. However, that was not enough for Posten because he had to add another $953.46 overcharge on top of it.  Steer clear of this money hunger so-called doctor!
