I went online, submitted my information and requested a callback. At about 8am this morning, some woman called me, said she was from US Dermatology. She said my name to confirm, I said yes thats me. She asked if I was interested, I said yes. Then as I was pulling my car over to park, took me mere seconds, this hung up on me. Now I see why the reviews are so bad. And here I was thinking they couldnt be that bad.

It is definitely important for clinics to check if a patients policy is in or out of network before services are provided. I took my daughter for an appointment, was checked in, copay was paid, nothing on the paperwork signed stated I had to verify my insurance before hand. Now 7 months later, I get a call stating I was out of network and it was my responsibility to check. Clinics have a team of insurance verifiers that should have caught this before services were rendered. This is such an inconvenience to the patient and unfair because now I am stuck with a bill due to incompetence.

Dr. Jay gets 5 stars, but the clinic staff gets 2.5 stars. My prescription request should have been sent to my pharmacy weeks ago. I've called the office multiple times. I left the clinic manager a voice-mail and I don't know if Jessica ever received my follow up message to reaffirm my prescription request. It's sad that I have to result to Google reviews in effort to get a response from this office.

I will not be going to this office again. My situation could not have been handled with less care or concern. I was already nervous about scheduling an appointment b/c my doc is on maternity leave, but I made one anyway with Dr. Williams who is filling in for her b/c I really need to be seen. I called & made an appointment weeks ago for tomorrow at 8:10am. When I called, I told the staff member who made my appointment that I needed medicine that comes from a different office, so she could make a note of it to ensure it was there when I arrived. I found my most recent invoice, so I was even able to give her the exact spelling & dosage of what I needed. Something told me today to call just to make sure they have it before I drive over 3 hours there b/c Im working in a different city at the moment. I called this morning & no one answered so I left a vm. When someone called me back, she said she didnt know & would have someone else call me shortly. This was at 8am. By 3:30pm I hadnt heard anything, so I called again. No one answered so I left another message. Someone named Harrison called & couldnt confirm that what I needed would be there & said he would have to call me back! He called back saying what I needed wasnt at either office & I would have to reschedule my appointment. I asked why it hadnt already been transported when I made the appointment weeks ago & told the office exactly what I needed, & he made excuse after excuse claiming that I called the call center when making my appointment. It doesnt matter what number I called as long as it was the right business! And it wasnt even the call center it was the office! But If the call center cant make appointments/notes or direct me to someone who can, then why are they there? He continued to make excuses & completely dismiss what I was saying. I then asked for the managers name & number four times & he continued to do what he wanted to do & not what I was asking. Very simple request & he couldnt even provide me that. Not to mention, they should already have what I need already there & ready for my appointment as its already in the system & its the only thing Ive been seen for! I hope they have recorded lines & can go weeks back to hear all the conversations, messages, voicemails, etc Ive had with staff for weeks now!
