Dental Associates Of North Dallas

Had been going here for years but will no longer. Great staff but bad policy. Never missed a dentist appointment and I call the morning of right when they opened to cancel because I was sick. They said it would be a $75 fee! I get people cancelling last minute or who make a pattern of it but to charge $75 for being sick especially when Ive never missed an appointment. On top of that I told them well I guess Ill come in then and they said okay. So you want me to come in and get everyone sick? With me being immune compromised this is concerning because I feel like people would then be pressured to go in sick so they dont get charged a $75 fee which is way more than what the cleaning cost.

So far Ive had a great experience with DAND! Im a new patient, but after moving to DFW two years ago, finding a new dentist was overwhelming. Im so thankful a colleague simplified the process by recommending DAND to me. From Terri at the front desk, to my technician, to Dr. Shuman - everyone was incredibly kind, and went above and beyond to help me understand all costs, paperwork & treatments. Seems like a very professional, knowledgeable practice with unmatched care for their patients!

I have been a patient of Dr Shumans for the last 7 years. I have followed him to each office hes worked at starting in Waxahachie, and was very excited when he finally opened the doors to his own office. The facility is beautiful, he has the latest technology, and his staff exudes the same compassion and professionalism that he does. Dr Shuman is a highly skilled and exceptionally gentle dentist and I couldnt recommend him enough (hence why I followed him!) Dr Shuman and his staff deserve more than 5 stars!!!

He and his entire team are one of the best in all of Dallas. I highly recommend him. He is gentle and kind, and listens. Good overhead music also.

So happy to find this practice. Insurance changes required me to find new dentist, after 20+ years with mine. Super friendly staff, very thorough exam with all state of the art equipment. Would highly recommend.
