    The office manger Jessica is very unprofessional and rude. The gps took me to the building next door and when I called the office asking if I was at the right location and where to park the receptionist told me that the office was located off Walnut Hill its a black building . Which I found to be very odd when the address states North Central Express Way. To make a long story short after I had to get back on north Central express it took me back to the same building. I then asked is there a name on the building. Come to found out I was literally next door to the building. When I explained that to the receptionist that I was at the building next door she stated oh I dont know the name of that building. Once I walked in I gave my name and asked to speak with Jessica. When Jessica walked up she was very hostile and rude never once apologized for the inconvenience and lack of communication. I told her that I wasnt happy about the lack of direction and how can patients know how to get to the office if the receptionist doesnt know the buildings. She state that if thats how I feel that I can leave which I did. I can honestly say that I have never ever been treated with so much disrespect and rudeness from an office if this how you treat potential employees. I can only imagine how you treat youre patients.

    Myself, my husband, and our 2 children all go to Central Dentist. Dr. Ombrello and her staff are amazing. My son recently needed to get some cavities filled which I was very nervous about because I've never had a cavity and had always heard about getting a shot in the gums to numb you and then drilling out the cavity. This was not like that AT ALL! My son had multiple cavities and they were able to take care of all of them in one sitting without any shots or numbing. The process was so easy and pain free. He was able to eat dinner that night and go to soccer practice. The staff even checked on him the next day to make sure he was doing ok!

    We brought my 2 year old here for her first dental exam and had a wonderful experience! Dr. Hassam was friendly, informative and very helpful for things not only related to dental health, but overall health. I loved that her and the Dental Assistant, Tiarra, had children similar in age to my daughter because they were able to relate and give helpful tips on how to make teeth brushing easy and fun. The office staff from front desk to checkout was very sweet and everyone made her first experience a good one! We will definitely be back!

  • Good dentist but worst experience. 1) They failed to send all of my claims to my insurance company. My total payment for my first visit and cleaning is $596 (quite expensive isn't it). They only billed $406 to my insurance company and forgot the remaining $190. They didn't send the remaining to my insurance company until I requested half a month later. 2) After my visit to their office, a physical CareCredit credit card was sent to my place, without my explicit authorization for application. I HAVE NEVER AUTHORIZED TO APPLY FOR IT.

    Best experience weve ever had with dentistry and we are patients for life! We drove 6 hours from Amarillo to be seen by Dr Ombrello and her staff. My 22 month old son was told by a dentist in Amarillo he needed his front 4 teeth extracted under general anesthesia. The second dentist in Lubbock said fluoride treatments and that she wouldnt even consider fillings until he was 3. I called central dentist (we are from Dallas originally) and they fit us in and were against both treatments that was recommended prior to them. We did MI paste and ozone gel to see how his decay did and to try to keep it at bay. It was worsening so we went back and Dr Ombrello did bonding (less invasive than fillings) and ozone gas. My son did so good and his teeth look great! All without needles and anesthesia. Dr Ombrello and her staff took great care of us took their time. Answered all of our questions, too! We will definitely be coming back. This is the best holistic dentist to go to! It was absolutely worth the 6 hour drive

Hi Brittany, Due to HIPPA, I am not allowed to respond to patient reviews with specific information. Because you are not a patient and were visiting our office to seek employment, I feel the need to respond. I apologize you were not able to find my office easily. Google maps and other apps have never given other people issues when trying to locate us. We have been located in the same location for over 15 years and I have never had someone have such an issue as you described. Many of our job applicants actually drive by the office prior to their appointment to confirm they know where it is so they can arrive on time and calm. As you stood in the waiting room and you yelled "I would never come to this office," my office manager, Jessica, patiently allowed you to leave as we can not imagine someone joining our team who feels that way. I wish you well with your job search but, from our limited interaction with you on the phone and in person, you do not possess the core values we require for our team at Central Dentist. Dr Ombrello

HI Shirley, I am sorry to hear you had a negative experience. Due to HiPPA, I am unable to discuss specific details of your appointment. Our office's financial policy is to always transparently present financials up front so that there is no question to the patient. The patient can decide whether they want to make the investment in their oral health that we present. Each patient signs a consent for treatment prior to the appointment to confirm procedures and financials are mutually agreed upon. Our insurance specialist verifies each patient's specific benefits based on their individual agreement with their insurance company. If we have verified that your dental insurance will not reimburse for necessary treatments that a patient has consented to, we typically do not file unless specifically requested by patient. We are a fee for service office so all insurance services we provide are out of courtesy to our patients. Patients are expected and encouraged to follow up with their own private dental insurance companies. Care Credit accounts can only be opened with patient consent as it requires social security number, DL number, and signed consent. A team member is unable to apply on behalf of a patient. If a patient received a Care Credit card in error, I recommend calling Care Credit directly. At Central Dentist, we are only interested in helping you achieve your healthiest smile.
