PDO was great for a time. But then management changed, teachers changed, and one of the really great teachers my son had left bc the energy became too toxic and chaotic. They started doing screen time with the toddler class (my son was 19 months old) for at least an hour a day. When my husband asked about the screen time they LIED and told him that I, his wife, said it was okay. That never happened. Its a 6 hour school day, 2 hour nap, only 4 hours. they don't need to be watching a screen for an hour while there. Anyways, I did appreciate that the student to teacher ratio was low. But ultimately I didn't feel like I could trust the caregivers with my son anymore. I know that some of the teachers are great. But I was pretty dissappointed with the changes they have made, especially with showing screens to our kids and lying about it. I know there are worse options for childcare out there, but I do hope they make some positive changes for the kids that are still in their care.
