Torshel Tornado Shelters Texas

We really like our Torshel shelter. Israel was very responsive and interfaced with us nicely as we had a few delays in the construction of our new home. In the end, the shelter was installed and we've already used it once! Nice to have with our north Texas weather gets bad!

Torshel did an amazing job. There installers are wonderful. I can't express how great this Shelter is and how heavy and strong it is. I can say with confidence it will outlast me and many generations to come!

Purchased a 4x6 storm shelter from Torshel to be delivered way out in the country (Central Texas) and placed inside a room addition we were constructing. Shelter came when promised and was installed quickly and professionally. Enjoyed dealing with Israel who I talked with several times while researching and ordering. Really like the fact that our shelter has 1/4" walls for the same price that other manufacturers were charging for 3/16" walls. We had a couple of custom features added to our shelter and they did a great job with it. Would definitely use Torshel again!

Excellent product! Extremely professional staff. Great prices too. They are far above anyone else I compared to. They work the details, answer every question and went above and beyond to be sure we were totally satisfied. Two years later and our shelter is still like new. Not a spec of dust, not a drop of water inside. Pretty darn good for something they buried in the ground. We love their work!

I had a Torshel storm shelter installed in my garage at my former home in 2017. The entire process was easy, and the installation team did a fantastic job in getting the shelter installed professionally. After it was installed, they gave me a run-down of the features. I had several close calls with tornadoes coming within a couple of miles of my house, and 3 adults and 5 dogs were able to fit in there for the duration of of the time needed to let the danger pass. Warning - the dogs will hot box you with dog breath though! In 2021, I sold my home, and I am in the market to get another shelter placed in my new home, and Torshel will be the company that does it. The shelter was a great selling point on my old house, and it is something that I continue to be jealous of the new owners getting to keep! If you are considering a storm shelter, this company is definitely worth using, because they will get the job done right!
