For one, I personally know the management staff, and one will never find a better group of individual. Tenants in this building are warm and friendly. I would recommend this beautifully designed building to anyone seeking office space in a great location. The view from the tenth floor is amazing.

Rude and inconsiderate “office manager” in the office for this company. Gaedeke Group hired a contractor to do work in their garage in this building. The contractors were told to ignore the city noise ordinance and to work until 2am. When politely advised of the law, an “office manager” told me that they were “talking to the city” and to “deal with it”. No permit for an exception to the noise ordinance was ever filed, and it was 2 days of the police coming to shut down the contractors before they moved construction to the weekend. The office admin sat and uncomfortable watched this “office manager” act uncivilized in response my simple query to not violate the law and be inconsiderate to the neighborhood. It’s rare to meet someone so disconnected from reality. This isn’t some one-sided explanation of what happened — I very politely asked that they not work at 2am and she literally told me to “deal with it”. After asking why she was being so short with me and uncaring, she told me that it was the city’s fault for not approving the permit (???). No. Accept responsibility for your actions and correct them. Violating the law and belittle someone when it’s brought to your attention? Aim for empathy next time; if you had come to my office and had a compliant, I wouldn’t have danced around even telling the truth, let alone trying to fix it instead of injecting the power I had in the situation. I understand that you have deadlines and getting work done on a garage that’s actively used is challenging — but ruining the living experience for for locals and refusing to correct it is just plain wrong (and unlawful). This review is more for the “office manager” rather than Gaedeke Group; but if that’s the type of person that they employ, than I can’t imagine the company is much better.
