Gallery at Turtle Creek Apartments

I was in the process of moving to Dallas and was specifically looking into the Oak Lawn neighborhood. My realtor found this apartment building for us, but the amenities aren't as nice as others in the area and they are definitely on the higher cost end for what you get. The icing on the cake was the arrogance of the leasing staff when asked about move in specials... he said "we don't have to offer those since so many people want to live here." Overall the whole experience came off as overly pretentious and arrogant. The building is older and very cold feeling to me and not where I would want to live. The biggest perk is it's proximity to Katy Trail.

Be cautious if thinking about living here, the location is great and apartments are nice however they are overpriced compared to similar complexes and security and safety is not great. I have lived here for two years and since then, I have noticed multiple homeless people enter the building with no issue because many of the doors are broken. There have been car jackings and multiple car break-ins. My car window was smashed in on Christmas Day and there has been a lack of communication with the main office and no transparency. If you are looking to live somewhere that is this expensive and safe I would look elsewhere.

It has been refreshing living at the Gallery at Turtle Creek. I would highly recommend the community. Never have I experienced a staff that cared about its tenants more than they do here. They are a beautiful community that is secure, soundproof and managed well. Their staff is pleasant, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I have to move, yet I plan to stay within Greystar if possible.
