UPDATE: The AC has now been out for 70 days. The amount of times I have gone into the office for them to write down new information is astonishing. First they said they needed two mechanics to fix it because the unit is on the roof. The unit is clearly on the ground next to my apartment. They then told me that they were waiting on parts. Finally a third party HVAC company came to look at it. The third party company didnt even get additional parts from the Domain. Then third party company left with out updating me and then the Domain office couldnt provide me an update either. The final nail in the coffin is the Domain offering zero rent back. Live here if you like spending your time off of work desperately trying to get the apartment you pay for to be habitable. ORIGINAL POST: Lived here for over a year now. The AC has gone out twice and both times took over two weeks to fix. With such a large property they only have one HVAC certified mechanic and dont see an issue with that. Live here if you like sweating while you sleep and being in the dark on when something is going to be fixed.

Since Greystar took over it has been a complete nightmare to get things fixed. Maintenance was a lot better before they took over, it did start going downhill starting this year and got a lot worse when Greystar took over. It has been months and my service request has not been resolved and management doesnt care at all, they dont respond to emails, they dont answer the phone and they dont call back when you leave a voicemail.

For the las/past 2 months my HEAT and my AIR CONDITIONER have been broken. Several maintenance requests have been put in place for maintenance to repair these very imperative amenities that is needed when one is renting an apartment. No one in the state of Texas should be without heat or air as this is considered inhabitable living conditions. Every time I reach out as far as these repairs are concerned someone emails me with a different explanation of why these two amenities cannot be repaired at this time because parts are being waited on. I am seeing that my maintenance orders are being canceled as I am reaching out about my air conditioning being fixed! My apartment is very hot and it is very uncomfortable for me to relax in a space in which I work hard to pay rent at. Maintenance repairs basic needs and as they come repair those I questioned the length in which they took to come do it I am being told that they didn't know about this order until NOW and by that time the order has already been in over a week now or so, so they are basically as surprised as I am that I have been waiting that long. Apparently COLE in the front office is canceling my maintenance orders manually and then give me the same excuse on why my air condition has not been repaired as far as waiting on parts. Enough time has passed for this to be repaired by now and it is not being taken seriously no one is living in this hot uncomfortable apartment but me I am literally sweating in my sleep! Unfortunately I will soon have to reach out to the news media and see if they can help me out on this matter in which I am a tenant with out any AIR or HEAT and it's ongoing. If that doesn't help I will then climb the legal ladder until my air and heat is fixed. At this point this is inhumane!

Updates: After my initial review expressing disappointment with the unprofessionalism and unresponsiveness of the office staff at Domain at Midtown Park, managed by Greystar, I regret to report that the situation has not improved. I have since moved out of the apartment complex as of early March, and it is now over 50 days without the return of my security deposit. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via phone, my efforts have been met with silenceno answers and no callbacks. This lack of communication extends to Greystar as well, who have also failed to respond to my inquiries. Furthermore, a reply to my original review from Sheri, the Community Manager, provided a contact number that, upon calling, leads nowhere. It seems to be a recurring theme that calls are not answered, and voicemails are left unreturned. This experience has only solidified my stance: I cannot recommend Domain at Midtown Park to anyone seeking a living situation where customer service and effective communication are valued. The disregard for residents and their time is palpable, and the failure to address concerns or follow up on important financial matters such as the return of a security deposit is unacceptable. For those considering this apartment complex, I urge you to look elsewhere. There are numerous options in the area that not only offer better amenities but also demonstrate respect and accountability towards their residents. Additionally, I think its essential to consider both positive and negative reviews when evaluating a business. While some people may have had positive experiences, I discovered that its rating on one of the most popular website is a mere2.4 out of 5 stars. This discrepancy raises concerns and highlights the need for improvement. Original: I moved into Domain at Midtown Park Apartment a few days ago and I regret my decision. The apartment itself is ok, but the office staff is very unprofessional and unresponsive. I was supposed to get a garage for my car, but they told me the garage door opener was not programmed and I had to wait until weekday to get it. I had to park my car outside under the sun for several days. I called them on Monday to follow up, but they said they didnt know when the opener would be ready and they would call me back. They never did. I called them again on Wednesday, but they gave me the same answer. Its been almost a week and I still dont have access to my garage. This is unacceptable and frustrating. I feel like they dont care about their residents at all. They should apologize for this inconvenience and compensate me for the trouble they caused me. To make matters worse, they do not pick up the phone call at all. If you dont believe me, just dial their local office number, based on my experience nine times out of the ten they will send you to voicemail, which nine times out of ten they will not call you back. If you got to their agent at the first try, you should go buy a lottery ticket right now. This shows how poor their customer service and communication are. They do not value their residents or respect their time. I do not recommend this apartment complex to anyone who values customer service and communication. There are better options in the area that offer more amenities and better management. Do not waste your money or time on this place.
