The apartment is nice as well as the pool and fitness area. Other than that everything else is awful. The gates are usually broken, key fobs barely work, neighbors have arguments outside, police have been called multiple times, the DEA did a drug bust, the hallways/stairwells are filthy, theres a wasp problem, and residents have cars that dont work and just sit in the lot taking up space. Not sure how this is considered a luxury apartment and why we pay luxury prices, its a subpar apartment.

10/24/24 Update: I had some serious issues prior to and at move in. First, my monthly rent quote went up by almost $60 because the community also houses low income and they determined the increase based on where I fall in the income brackets. Initially I was confused as to why my welcome home letter numbers didnt add up and kept asking the leasing agent to fix it. 2 days before my move in date is when they explained this to me. The day of move in: I signed my lease and got my keys. Right after that I was told management is having issues with packages and that they dont have access to the lockers and are unsure when this will be fixed. The actual apartment: I walked in to realize that the layout of my unit was completely different than what is listed on the website and what I thought I would be moving in to and to top it off its 30 feet smaller. When I addressed the concern with management, I was gaslight in every way possible which is what frustrated me the most. Noise: It seems that the walls of my apartment are very thin or my upstairs neighbors are just very loud. I can hear every step from upstairs and quite often my walls and ceiling will shake. Cleanliness: I have encountered two small roaches so far but I make sure to keep everything clean and dry so this doesnt happen. Although living on the first floor makes it easier for bugs and pests to get in. Hopefully its not an issue within the buildings themselves. Aside from all of that, I like the area and how close everything is. The garage and little gated front patio is what saves the day for me. Also, shout out to the maintenance guys! They are quick, friendly and courteous. I know management is new and still trying to get themselves situated so I try to give some grace. I hope things start looking up as they get their footing. After a long and painful experience searching for apartments, I finally came across Axis Kessler Park. I went in for a tour and felt very welcomed and at ease. They have great units for affordable prices and having an attached garage is a huge incentive. Also, the application process was fast and easy. I'm very excited for my upcoming move and look forward to becoming a part of the community.

**Proceed with caution when dealing with Greystar Management. I strongly advise researching this property group before making any decisions. There are numerous online discussions and reviews on platforms like Reddit and TikTok, as well as past and current lawsuits, which should give potential tenants HUGE pause.** My partner and I have lived here for a few years, and while we had minor issues under the previous management (Sherman Residential), communication has severely deteriorated since Greystar took over. Weve had an ongoing issue that theyve handled poorly, with response times dragging and little indication that they are interested in fostering long-term loyalty. Its disappointing because the property is in a great location, and we were once strong advocates, even referring friends. However, no matter how beautiful this place is, its not worth dealing with management that doesn't seem invested in its residents.
