Absolutely loved living here! Management does a fantastic job keeping the property in top condition. Neighbors are friendly and the building is nice and quiet. Apartments are high-end. Would not have moved except that it was time for more space (a house). Thank you to The Alton!!!

The building is great, the location is what gives the Alton 5 stars. Be aware there are many operational issues before you sign up. No guest entry access system, the one in place doesnt work and hasnt since day one correctly. Hire a door man! There are a few who do not seem to understand picking up after your pet, leaving the pet area a little nasty. Reply to Alton - Great I would love to speak with you but there is no way to get a hold of anyone. The texting service you put in place does not seem to work, no messaging on the resident portal. You know how to reach me. Update1/1/2024 - after being here a few months I would suggest you find elsewhere to spend the kind of money they charge for rent. Management does nothing for issues, there is no after hours or emergency contact for issues. I have had power issues in my unit for almost 2 months. Noise from neighbors comes through walls and ceiling. Then there are some of the entitled residents that do not clean up after throwing up in elevators, letting pets use the hallways as bathrooms. Its disgusting. Update 4/2/2024 - it was a nice place to live and great location, you get what you pay for in terms of location. Building and residents, leave a lot to be desired.
