Preston Heights Apartments

Moved here from another state. Living here was decent but it definitely wasnt worth the cost. Listed as luxury apartments, yet there is nothing luxurious within this complex. Demo model and website photos looks way better than what it actually is. Its a fairly quiet complex with the random neighbor smoking or a loud car every once in a while. Gym is very small, only a few pieces of old equipment. Very VERY limited guest parking. Cannot have a POD dropped in this complex because it is so tight. Complex is old and very dated, patched up work, scummy window seals and patio door frames have never been cleaned. Mildew in vents and vents just fall out the walls. Windows are poorly insulated which will result in an extremely high electric bill. You will have frost or condensation in your windows. Be prepared to buy cans of bug spray for excessive spiders although you pay for pest control in your rent. Washer and dryer hookup was in the garage.had to put on a coat/jacket to go down and wash clothes in during the winter. Be prepared to be nickeled and dimed out of your deposit no matter how good you clean your unit upon move out. Charging for water spots on a mirror is a bit absurd and if you complain about it, they will ignore your communications. Shannon and Cheryl are what I would call nice/nasty. They will be nice but will ignore you when they don't feel like responding to something, such as complaints of neighbors loud food odors penetrating through your walls. Not worth $2600 a month for a 2 bedroom with garage. You can find much more space, better customer service and cheaper rent at The Livingston or Prestonwood Hillcrest.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Preston Heights Apartments. The complex is well-maintained and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is great, with easy access to all major highways. There's plenty of space and modern amenities in these apartments. There's a great vibe for someone who likes a quiet neighborhood with mature neighbors. It's a great place to live, and I highly recommend Preston Heights Apartments. Five stars all the way!

We called this place home for close to 3 years. Moved out due to work. The management and the maintenance staff were great! The community is maintained well. Safe. The only thing was the cooling. Our house was in the second floor, and the Texas summer would not allow the house to cool. It may have been the insulation or the AC being small for a unit of this size. But overall, our stay was great.

Loved at one of this companys properties and absolutely hated it. Their predatory contracts and manipulative billing squeezed almost $5000 out of me after my initial lease. Do not live at this, or any of their properties.

Its been 2 weeks and havent received my deposit of $300. I wouldnt suggest no one to apply to these apartments. They approved me then come back a week later with some made up stuff. Didnt give me a chance to bring support documents. Be careful applying at these apartments. The sad part I got approved with 2 different apartments. Be careful applying here! I just want my deposit- until I get my $300 this review will stay! DO NOT APPLY HERE!
