The Legacy Senior Communities

Regarding assisted living: Do not let the fancy hotel look mislead you. They don't have enough staff and hire foreigners from agencies..Some with an attitude. Had to chase nurses down for help.My friend was spoken rudely to and even dropped. Had to wait for hours to get someone to change her and weeks went by with no bath. Social worker too busy and kept messing up paperwork. Poor communication and waited forever to get a response. Food is prepared in the morning and served again at dinner. Visiting Doctors just so-so. Don't seem to really care. They discharged her early even though Medicare and co-insurance would pay for her necessary skilled nursing and PT!!! Guess they can get more money from private pay. There are better places where the staff cares.

My mom & dad have lived at the Independent Living community for several years. I am very happy with the facility and the awesome staff. Great job, Legacy at Midtown Park.
