My previous five star review is below. I am amending my rating and review because after this deal closed, I discovered a number of discrepancies. I called Candace to discuss, and she became extremely defensive and contentious, making a number of strange comments that caused me to look deeper into the issues. I had highlighted her efficiency, candor, and willingness to go above and beyond. It turns out the items I thought were above and beyond, she did not complete them. Here's the big problem - she said she did multiple times until confronted with incontrovertible third party evidence she did not. What I had perceived as candor was her being brash, being very bold and overstated to push me off of my desired position, presumably so she could close the deal quicker and get paid. The efficiency of the deal was partly driven by the above, and it was also facilitated by dishonesty. During negotiations, there were certain points I that were important to me. Candace reported they were hard no's, and the other side would walk if I pushed more, and advised I back off. After the deal closed, I discovered she never discussed these points with the other side. Here's another kicker - they were completely amenable to those terms, and felt they were very standard terms. I surmise Candace did not want to deal with a cycle of negotiations, so instead of bringing it to the other side, she chose a shortcut. I feel I was deceived multiple times about multiple issues. I tried to discuss this privately when the evidence came to light, and was met with belligerence and gaslighting. I would not recommend working with Candace. From my experience, I would be wary of everything she said. In my case, all the evidence of deception came to light after closing, and she provided no remedy. ********************************************************** Previous Review: ********************************************************** Candace is an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a difficult situation that had been stagnant for 10 months, and Candace took it from my initial phone call to executed signatures with a well-qualified candidate in two weeks. It is a testament to her efficiency, knowledge, and hard work. I have enjoyed working with her, and I am especially impressed by her communication style - she provides just the right level of details, highlighting important things but not overwhelming with minutiae. She answered my questions with candor and straightforwardness in order to get the best outcome for me. Her hard work is absolutely amazing, very much appreciated, and highly recommended!

Candace will work with you until you find the right home. She listens to you when you tell her your needs and wants, steering you to the best options in the city and surrounding areas. We highly recommend Candace for anyone looking to buy a home, especially if youre a first time homebuyer like we were. We came in feeling out of our depth, but Candace took the time to educate us on the entire process in detail before we toured any places. She's an excellent communicator, answering our questions in a way that gave us tons of confidence. She's flexible and reliable, always making herself available for showings or chats and working around our busy schedules. She genuinely cares about finding the right place for you and is honest in offering her opinion when she thinks a home or a deal isnt right. Candace helped us land our dream home, and also connected us to a great lender who shared her common sense, straightforward communication style (and great rates). Months later, Candace still answers any questions we have and is just as responsive as she was from our first chat. Candace came highly recommended to us, and were so happy we took their advice.
