On March 1st, I wrote a rent check out for the full amount of rent due. The property Manager, Emily G., called me frantically saying my check wasn't legible and the bank might cash it for less. She insisted that I write her an additional check for $900. She promised that if the rent check cleared for the right amount, she would void the check and would never cash it. The first check cleared on March 6th for the right amount and my rent was paid in full. I have all paperwork from my bank as proof. Emily G. said she voided the check. Then on March 16th, she cashed the check they said they had voided and took an extra $900. Then, they disappeared. The website came down. The account history came down. The phone number was disconnected. The emails bounced. They left no way to reach them. Regardless of dozens of emails and phone calls to their corporate offices in Dallas, they do not pick up the phone or answer emails. This money was literally stolen from me. I had to file a criminal case and will have to file a civil lawsuit. They should be investigated for their financial practices. While living there, my rent went up and up every single month. The water bill for Buda, Texas, for 2 people who are barely home, was $175 a month plus loads of fees, making the rent $450 more a month then what they advertise.

The apartment complex that they own called The Estate on Quarry lake is not responding to their applicants or residents. They have a main phone line that nobody answers, and you cannot get any response via voicemail or email. These are horrible properties.

Scam/ monopoly I am writing this because I have been a victim of a scamming and monopoly scheme. The apartments that I stay in use a towing comping that tows your vehicle even with parking tags. The apartment complex has more covered parking spots than uncovered parking spots and it is unfair/unequal to the residence number. There are no open spaces to park in, in the complex or outside some nights. It leaves us residence to park under the covered parking. We don't really have a choice. A change needs to be made immediately. The fees to release vehicles is $230.00. With people barely working, how can we afford to live?. I should not have to circle the premises 5 or 6 times, hoping an open space comes available, when I live here and pay for uncovered parking! I never use the trash valley either. I take my own garbage out!! I want a refund for both of the times my vehicles were towed. I am blamed by Management saying I should have parked in the street, but there were no spaces available. This area is always jam packed with cars. I should not have to go through this as a valuable tenant who pays rent here at The Vibe. I should not have to endure this kind of financial burden and I live here!

The Hendrix's Apartments: Responsiveness is very very poor. The Hendrix's Apartments: Valet Trash, MUST go. I hate it Hendrix FORCED US TO USE IT AT 25.00 per month per apartment, add up the numbers they are ripping us off, PLUS we still have to pay city trash service so we are paying twice for trash service, I did not vote for this Valet Trash, Corporate lawyers finding ways of lining their pockets with Pinnacle. Valet Trash must go.
