What do you say about a doctor who literally saved your daughters life? We adored Dr. Rimer as soon as we met her at our daughters newborn check up but thinking about my daughters 18 month check up I cant help but cry with gratitude. As soon as Dr. Rimer walked in I could tell something wasnt right. She started asking a lot of questions and quickly left the room and came back with a lab order telling me we needed to rush to Dell Childrens for emergency blood work. The blood work showed our daughter was critically anemic and needed to be admitted to the hospital immediately. If it hadnt been for her quick thinking, I honestly dont know what could have happened. By the next morning we had four specialist in our room. We learned in the days that followed that Dr. Rimer had literally tracked them all down and gave them all her personal cell phone number just in case they had any questions about our daughters history and to be kept in the loop with what was going on. The specialists all told us that they normally call the pediatrician, not the other way around. They all told us, Wow, you have a very special pediatrician. Something that we could not agree more with. Dr. Rimer is ALL HEART. She takes the time to listen and is such a gentle pediatrician. I honestly recommend her to everyone we know.
